Today though, we are particularly in LOVE with this Deer Valley, Utah wedding. We love the simple and romantic details of their day as well as their choice in local elements. The peaches, figs, hydrangea, ranunculus, mosses, Italian wine, lovely satin ribbons and this gorgeous bride’s smile come together perfectly. So inspiring!

They were completely ooey gooey and oozed sophistication, love and passion throughout the entire process. We were so excited to work with them!

The Urban Studio in the heart of the Pearl District set the stage for this romantic early evening affair. Jen & Jamie really wanted a clean, simple, modern yet romantic and organic feel for their wedding. So, we began with foliages like graceful maidenhair fern, scented geranium (from our very own garden!) and even live potted plants. Next we introduced crisp whites like locally grown dahlia blooms, mounds of  hydrangea and luscious & drippy phalaenopsis stems by the gallon. We then pulled it all together with twigs and cymbidium blossoms hung from delicate green ribbon. Floods of table top and hanging candle light provided that finishing glow that this event space welcomes quite well.

The ridiculously talented duo at Corliss Photography were both on hand to capture each and every detail of that days story well enough to be deemed Portland’s Best! Everything from a teeny tiny detail to sentimental toasts, they captured it all flawlessly. Having never worked with this team, I wondered through their website with sweet anticipation of The Fay’s wedding photos and just got lost. What a rounded body of work from this creative and truly talented pair! We cannot thank them enough for providing us with so many of their amazing shots.

In the end, we finished our day once again feeling so lucky to have the best job ever.

This bouquet was the result of our designer playtime. One day we had horse chestnuts, white freesia, gorgeous local millet and a geranium plant just sitting around. So we thought, what the heck let’s have some fun today. And we did

This bouquet was created for a bride that just loved the sun. She wanted to walk down the aisle feeling a vibrant as her sweet personality! So this is what we designed for her.

We found our sunny inspiration in green gladiolus blooms, yellow double tulips, green dendrobiums, white mini calla lilies, white bouvardia blossoms and ivory roses.
